The technology for making a bride's bouquet from indoor flowers may differ slightly from the usual one. Most flowers are cut off with a peduncle or twig, for example Dipladenia or Hippeastrum, Zanthedexia (Calla), but some plants can be included in the bouquet by cutting not only the peduncle, but also part of the bush or rosette - this applies to bromeliads (Bilbergia, Vriesia), Calceolaria. If you cut off only a peduncle from these plants, the flowers will quickly wilt, but if you remove part of the leaves from a calciolaria or violet bush, trim the roots, moisten and wrap the bottom of the bush with a film, it will be alive and colorful for several days!

To extend the safety of plants and flowers in a bouquet, you need to hold cut stems and peduncles for 30 minutes in a stimulant solution: 4 drops of Zircon per 1 liter of water, or 1 tablet of succinic acid per 1 liter of water.

Best indoor flowers for a bouquet

In the USA and Europe, Medinilla's wedding bouquets are very popular, they form chic pink clusters-inflorescences, and Stefanotis, but these plants are quite rare in our homes, but the lovely Hoya, on the contrary, are quite popular, keep in cut for a very long time, ideal for a bride's bouquet according to the color scheme - most varieties with a white whisk.

Ideal and commercially available Falenopsis, cut without stimulants in a bouquet of inflorescences to stay from 5 days, all other orchids are more rare, but no less good at cutting. All these flowers are good and the fact that you do not need to spoil the plant itself, it is enough to cut off a twig or peduncle  .

Of the deciduous plants, the bouquet is better suited: Zamiakulkas, Caladium, Marants, Monster, Ivy and Palm twigs - cut branches retain freshness for a long time if the ends of the shoots are wrapped in wet moss and cling film.

The bride's bouquet is not a basket of flowers, it should fit in the hand and be a decoration, not a burden, so you should not take the first beautiful flower that comes across or try to disguise the pot in a beautiful wrapper.
