Bordeaux fluid is one of the strongest remedies in the fight against fungal or bacterial diseases. For the preparation of Bordeaux liquid, it is recommended to use quicklime in the form of lumps or fluff. To prepare a 3 percent solution of Bordeaux liquid, 300 grams of quicklime (previously lime is quenched with water) and the same amount of copper sulfate per 10 liters of solution are required. Each copper sulfate and lime in a separate non-iron dish is dissolved in 2-3 liters of hot water, then the volume of each solution is brought to 5 liters using very cold water. Lime solution is filtered through double gauze, and then copper vitriol solution is poured into lime solution with constant stirring.
The mixture should have a beautiful bright blue color and not contain excess copper. Copper acts as a poison in this preparation, lime is introduced as an acid neutralizer. If you add lime less than necessary, you can burn the plant. To determine the acidity of the liquid, an iron nail is lowered into it. In the case of an acid reaction, after 3-4 minutes, the surface of the iron is covered with a red coating of copper. In a neutral and alkaline reaction, no red plaque is formed. The Bordeaux liquid reaction can also be sampled on a litmus test paper. With an acidic reaction, blue litmus paper turns red, and with an alkaline red, it turns blue.
The solution should be used on the day of preparation. During the day, it can be preserved by adding sugar (5-10 g per 10 liters).
The given proportions of substances are high - a very strong solution is obtained, as it is used on severely affected plants. Usually, for indoor plants, the following proportions are recommended: 100 g of copper and lime per 10 liters of water. Read all the details and warnings: Bordeaux liquid - instructions for use

Trichodermin is a biological agent for protecting plants from fungal and bacterial diseases. Trichodermin consists of spores of the soil fungus Trichoderma lignorum (at least 2 billion spores per 1 year) and crushed grain substrate. Trichodermin is able to suppress more than 60 types of soil pathogens that cause diseases such as root and fruit rot, seed infections, macrosporiosis, fusarium, rhizoctoniosis, late blight, etc. Trichodermin improves soil fertility, stimulates root nutrition of plants, increases seed germination. The drug is available in powder form in bags of 10 g. Trichodermin is used in the form of an aqueous solution. To soak the seeds, a suspension of 10 g of trichodermin per 1 liter of water is prepared, in which the seeds are kept. For watering plants, trichodermin is also diluted 10 g/l, watered under the root, but no more than with ordinary watering. For spraying, dilute 10 g per 5 liters of water. You can make a drug for prevention when transplanting plants - at the tip of a knife on a pot about 25 cm in diameter. It is possible to add tyrchodermin to the water to root cuttings, especially those located to decay, such as senpolia. The prepared aqueous solution of trichodermin can be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 5 ° C for no more than 1 month, however, before use, allow the solution to warm to room temperature.

Opinions about Fundazol are very contradictory, its official status often changes. Some florists and collectors consider it the only effective against many fungal and bacterial infections, others very scientifically prove the inexpediency of its use. At the moment, the active ingredient benomyl is included in the list of pesticides approved for use in the Russian Federation. However, the iplsnts.ru does not recommend using fundazole as a drug of choice immediately after the detection of the disease - there are more effective and less harmful drugs for humans and animals.

Fungicide Safety
During treatment with fungicides, you cannot use utensils, smoke, drink and eat. Treatment is carried out in the absence of children, animals, and if there is an aquarium nearby, then it is tightly closed and opened only when the treated plants dry. In case of mass disease damage, all touching surfaces (window glass, frames, window sills, tiles, etc.) can be treated if possible.
For those who suffer from allergies or skin eczema, it is better to carry out processing in gloves and a gauze bandage. Do not forget to look at the hazard class of the drug used. After finishing work, hands, face and all used equipment must also be washed with soap and water. It is necessary to store fungicides in a dry room, in a place inaccessible to children and animals, and protect them from fire.
If a fungicide accidentally enters the human body, drink several glasses of water, induce vomiting and immediately consult a doctor.
