гиппеаструм драгоценность

Hippeastrum Jewel (Jewel)

Originator: "Miyake Nursery" (Japan).
The variety is registered: in 1992
Classification: Midi, Semi-Double
Description: Usually 2-4 cream, with a slight aroma, narrow, pointed semi-double tubular flowers with a wax sheen, with a diameter of 15-16 cm on a peduncle 35-50 cm long. Some flowers may be double or simple, however, semi-double flowers with 6 petals and a corolla, including up to 6 internal petals or staminodes, are more common. The stigma of the pestle is sometimes curved. On the yellowish-green neck is a ring of dark red specks (bit).
Up to 15 dark green leaves with frosted tips remain fresh for up to 10 months (including the cold period) and reach 49-55 cm in length and 2.5 cm in width, with a hollow in the middle. Usually the bulb with a diameter of 9.5-10.5 cm gives two peduncles, with a diameter of 10-10.8 cm - three.
Interesting (note from the book): Mature bulbs of SDragencyT often produce two consecutive blooms, forming two segments with 5-7 leaves each. After nine months, having separated at the neck, each half becomes an independent bulb, connecting with each other only in the basal part. After an 8-week period of cold content, each half gives new peduncles and new leaves, while the old leaves do not become paler. By September 2003, each half had grown 7-9 mature leaves.

гиппеаструм звезда джунглей

Hippeastrum Jungle Star (Jungle Star)

The variety is registered: in 1997
Classification: Cybister (sibister).
Description: usually 4-5 burgundy and pale green flowers on a peduncle up to 75 cm long. The diameter of the flowers is about 15 cm.
Elena (description from the photo): Original, with a beautiful color of sibistra. All petals clearly show maroon venation on a light cream-green background. Each petal has its own individual color. The upper petal is almost completely burgundy, light creamy green closer to the tips. The two petals, which are adjacent to the upper petal, are symmetrical in color and painted burgundy to the middle, from the middle to the ends, the color gradually changes to light cream-green. The lower petal is light creamy green, closer to the throat with a burgundy tint. In two petals that are adjacent to the lower petal, a light strip passes in the middle, on one side of this strip the color of the petal is burgundy on the other side - light cream-green. In this pair of petals, the upper edges at the throat are bent towards each other. On all petals along the edge, a burgundy edging is visible, the edge of the petals is wavy. Stamen filaments and pistil are light green, closer to the throat with a burgundy tint.

The difference between Jungle Star and Lima (from the experience of Elena the Beautiful): And Jungle Star differs from Lima in a significantly saturated color, Jungle Star is very bright, contrasting, Lima does not have such a green color at the ends of the petals, but the flower is larger in diameter. Buds open in different ways.

гиппеаструм ла паз

Elena (description): very strong, good variety, one of my favorites. Red or brick-red with a cherry tint flowers with a green star (pointed) in the throat, with light green stripes in the middle of the petals. Dark red venation is clearly visible on the petals. The upper three petals are more colored than the lower ones. The petal, adjacent to the stamen filaments and pistil, is colored light green with a small scattering of dark red spots and with a dark red border along the edge. The leaves are belt-shaped, not very wide (about 3-3.5 cm.), Develop after flowering, and not immediately, but somewhere after 1-1.5 months. It forms babies very well.
I got this variety in 2006. The purchased onion had rot on the half bottom. Despite the disease and treatment, the bulb blossomed with two peduncles of 4 buds each! After the disease, the bulb recovered for about 2 years, during this period it gave more than 15 children. In the spring of 2008, there was the first flowering after the disease. On a peduncle, more than 60 cm high, there were 2 flowers.

The bulb with a diameter of 10.5 cm usually gives two peduncles, with a diameter of 10.5-11 cm - three. Previously, the variety was called CJudy WestonT (CJudy WestonT).
Elena (description): a beautiful coral large-flowered terry variety with a variety of shades from pink to orange-red (the more sun, the more saturated the color). The leaves are light green, wide, belt-like. Very long pedicels, about 10 cm. Perianth throat light green. Stamen filaments and pistil are white, slightly pink closer to anthers, rarely develop. On the reverse side of the perianth, light green stripes are visible in the middle of the petals. I have this variety blooms every year in the spring, last year it bloomed again in the summer.
This variety does not always have the correct, neat shape of the flower. Quite often on the upper half of the perianth, more petals are formed than on the lower.

CLemon LimeT usually flowers 4-6 weeks after planting. Bulbs with a diameter of 9.5-10.5 cm give 2-3 peduncles.
