Fertilizer for feeding any vegetation on the windowsill, in the garden or vegetable garden. Active ingredient: sodium and potassium salts of humic acids. Manufacturer: Agro-Tech-Gumat LLC Russia, Irkutsk. Available in the form of a dry powder of brown color.

Humate + 7 is produced on highly oxidized brown coals, contains 80-88% of humic acid salts (humates) and 7 basic trace elements necessary for plant life. These are Fe-0.4%, Cu-0.2%, Zn-0.2%, Mn-0.17%, Mo-0.018%, Co-0.02%, B-0.2%; NPK 1,5-0,15-5. The powder is highly soluble in water (96%), a slight flocculent precipitate is possible.

Product features

Gumat + 7 is an improved version of the previous generation of the drug, which was called Gumat 80 and was quite popular with gardeners. Humate 80 contains only humic acids (80%) and is a plant growth regulator. Humus is the main organic substance of the soil, and humic acids are high molecular weight compounds formed during the decomposition of soil organics , and contain amino acids, polysaccharides, vitamins, hormone-like and other substances. So, in the preparation of Humat + 7 humic acids in the form of complex compounds with minerals, which gives a synergistic effect, therefore the preparation is both a growth regulator and fertilizer. But Humat + 7 cannot be considered as the main fertilizer for feeding plants, only as an additional one. After all, the main function of the drug is to improve the biochemistry of the soil, so there is no phosphorus in its composition, and a very small proportion of nitrogen.

Humic acids improve energy metabolism in the soil, restore the balance of trace elements in the substrate, promoting the transition of trace elements to the chelate form - organic compounds available for assimilation by plants, reduces the effect of heavy metals and the content of nitrates. The use of Humat + 7 activates the synthesis of proteins, carbohydrates, which contributes to an increase in the intensity of the processes of respiration, photosynthesis and water exchange, and improves the growth of the root system.

Humates are more effective on sandy soils poor in organic matter (i.e. own humus), as well as on acidic soils after liming or on alkaline soils with a low iron content.

Application

It is advisable to use humate 7 together with complex mineral fertilizers in the spring-summer period, but the manufacturer advises to reduce the rate of the main fertilizer (more on that below). You can also use Gumat 7 in autumn and winter, when the main fertilizer must be abandoned.

Dissolve 1 g of Humate + 7 in 10-15 L of water. If you do not have scales, focus on the color of the solution - it should be the color of loosely brewed tea (light brown, not like chifir). This solution needs to water plants at the rate of 4-5 liters per 1 sq. meter of soil. It is not worth increasing the dosage, since high doses of humates (excess of 500 mg/l) inhibit the growth of the root system and the aboveground part of plants. Watering with a growth regulator is carried out 3-4 times during the period of active plant growth from March to July - during the budding period, during the formation of ovaries and ripening of fruits. The frequency of watering with humates should be 14 days.

To soak seeds, dissolve 0.5 g of Humate + 7 in 1 l of water. If this is a lot, then dilute on a glass of water, focusing on the color of the solution - approximately at the very tip of the knife, so that the solution is slightly brown. Soak the seeds for 1-3 days, but not longer than it should be for a particular type of plant.

Application of Humate + 7 into the soil, without dilution of the solution, is carried out at the rate of 10 g of the product per 2-3 square meters. m. Evenly scatter the drug is unlikely to work. Therefore, it is easiest to pour a little dry sand into the jar, add humates to it, close the lid and carefully shake the jar. Then scatter the sand in an even layer over the surface of the earth and dig or loosen .

To strengthen seedlings, Gumat + 7 should be used immediately with the first irrigation after sowing. Then every 10-14 days. If you use fertilizers for feeding seedlings, their norm must be reduced by at least 30 %.

Humate + 7 with fertilizers

Gumat + 7 is not a complex fertilizer, it is unbalanced by NPK for constant dressing, optimal for potassium is suitable only for flowers and vegetables, which should bloom and harvest in a short time. If you need additional dressing, combine Gumat only with nitrogen fertilizers or alternate them with full complex fertilizer.

It is more correct to feed nitrogen fertilizers to the soil in the spring (when digging or transplanting), and two weeks after transplanting (planting seedlings), spray the plants with a humate solution on the sheet. With the simultaneous introduction of Gumat80 or Gumat + 7 with nitrogen fertilizers into the soil, the share of nitrogen fertilizers should be reduced to 40-50% of the recommended one. Do not combine feeding Potassium Gumat or Gumat + 7 with potassium fertilizers so as not to cause an overdose of potassium.

Do not combine Potassium Gumat, Gumat80 or Gumat + 7 with phosphorus fertilizers, such as superphosphate and others - insoluble and indigestible compounds are formed in joint mixtures! Phosphorus fertilizers need to be alternated, but since Gumat + 7 itself increases the amount of mobile phosphorus in the soil, subsequent fertilization with phosphorus should be used in a reduced dose (reduce the norm by 30-40 %).

The effectiveness of humates was especially manifested in tank mixtures, i.e. combined solutions with plant protection products - this reduces the time of chemical stress in plants. But before making tank mixtures, you need to check for the compatibility of Gumatov with pesticides. In a separate container, mix the preparations in a small amount and make sure that there is no precipitation. Kurdyumov advises in his book to combine Gumat80 and Gumat + 7 with Aquarin, SILK and EM drugs.

Toxicity

Gumat has hazard class 4 for humans. It is non-phytotoxic and does not accumulate in plants. However, with an overdose in the soil, it can inhibit the life of plants, and can also provoke damage by bacterial infections. If you poured indoor flowers and diluted too concentrated solution, you can prevent overdose if you rinse the soil in pots - pour plenty of clean water until it begins to pour intensively from drainage holes. After that, loosen the soil in the pot and thoroughly dry the soil - water only when you make sure that the ground is dry in the upper half of the pot.

Product storage temperature in the range from + 5 to + 35 ° С.
